Paddle Steamers – Mainly used on inland rivers, however, river travel decreased significantly in the 1800’s.
Ferries – Transport passengers and freight, still used frequently today.
Cargo Ships – Used to carry large amounts of freight across oceans.
Naval Ships – Used mainly in combat.
Hydrofoils – Transport passengers, similar to a boat but travels much faster.
Steamboats – Used as a recreational form of transport.
Submarines – Travels complete “sub”merged under water, usually used in combat.
